It’s quite rainy today. There’s not much going on at the moment and I am slowly building this newsletter from the ground up.

The length of a rectangular piece of paper is 3 and the width is 1. The paper is folded so that one vertex lies on top of the opposite vertex, thus forming a pentagonal shape. What is the area of the pentagon?
