A single point is often noted as A, B or C and has coordinates. The number of coordinates corresponds to the number of dimensions in the space.
And
A continuous collection of infinitely many points forms a geometric shape, such as a line or a plane.
Properties of Points
A point in space has the following properties:
it lacks length and width
it has a fixed position in the space
it has the same number of coordinates as the dimension of the space
